Motivation Monday

Sometimes people you never meet still leave a big impact on your life. Dolly has always been one of those people for me. šŸ¤ Growing up watching Steel Magnolias, I was captivated by the women in that salon. They laughed, cried, gossiped, told the truth and showed up exactly as they were. As I grew up and became a hairstylist, I realized how much that shaped the kind of space I wanted to create in my own chair. Of course I want you to leave with beautiful hair. But more importantly, I want you to feel safe enough to exhale. To laugh, cry, vent, tell your stories, or say absolutely nothing at all. Because being a hairstylist is about so much more than hair. We get to be part of womenā€™s lives through so many seasons, and I think thereā€™s something really special about creating a space where women can simply be themselves. Thatā€™s what Dolly represented to me. Warmth, kindness, humour, generosity, and a reminder that you can be unapologetically yourself while making everyone around you feel welcome. Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughter, the big hair and the even bigger heart. I hope every woman who sits in my chair feels a little bit of that magic. šŸ¤ Rest easy, Dolly. Transformation Tuesday.

Ashley transformed this guestā€™s hair with custom-colored extensions for a completely seamless finish. She expertly matched the color by customizing both the guestā€™s natural hair and the extensions before installation, creating beautiful length, fullness, and a look thatā€™s true to the inspiration photo. We love the final result!
