The Center: Mind, Body & Spirit

Cancer touches more than the person diagnosed. Recovery can carry its own weight, and caring for someone you love can leave little room for yourself.

This October, we’re offering two individuals a complimentary 60-minute therapeutic massage with PEMF mat therapy and a Reiki add-on. These spaces are for cancer survivors without active cancer or primary caregivers of someone with cancer.

As a 501(c)(3), giving back is part of who we are. No obligations or upselling, just time to rest and receive a little care. 🤍

We are not certified in oncology massage, so this offering is limited to individuals without active cancer. We’ll review health history to ensure the session and included services are appropriate.

If this feels meant for you, please message us with whether mornings, afternoons or early evenings work best. We’ll arrange the two spaces privately.

Our Autumn Oceanview Collection has been very popular already so I’ve decided to open more availability. The-center-ma.com

The outdoor, water-view space out back is starting to take shape!

Stories like this make my stomach turn. Misconduct can happen in any industry, but massage involves a level of trust and vulnerability that should never be taken lightly.

We don’t tolerate that here.

At The Center, your safety, comfort, and boundaries matter. As a licensed massage therapist certified in trauma-informed care, I take that responsibility personally.

That means explaining what we’re doing, asking permission, respecting proper draping, and listening when you say something doesn’t feel right. You can decline work on any area, ask for adjustments, or stop your session at any time. You never owe me an explanation.

You also don’t have to share your history to have your boundaries respected.

You deserve to feel safe while receiving care. Your body is yours, and being on a massage table never changes that. 🤍

Feeling this weather in your bones? Come be warm, dry, and taken care of for a while. 🤍

Imagine settling onto a warming PEMF mat, calming aromatherapy in the air, and a therapeutic massage with Reiki while nobody needs a single thing from you.

Want to linger longer? Oceanview Drift adds infrared sauna warmth with PEMF and red light. Oceanview Retreat gives you two uninterrupted hours, finishing with immersive vibroacoustic sound, an eye-massage mask, and BioMax red light.

Warmth. Quiet. Someone taking care of you for a change.

Blue light is doing much more than adding a pretty glow.

Acne-causing bacteria are highly sensitive to blue light. By targeting that bacteria on the skin, blue light helps reduce the inflammatory response we see as pimples, swelling and redness.

It also works within the skin’s upper layer to stimulate collagen synthesis connected to riboflavin, or Vitamin B2. The resulting increase in collagen density can improve the appearance of skin tone, firmness and elasticity.

Then we add red and near-infrared light.

Blue light works primarily at the surface, while red and near-infrared wavelengths reach deeper to support cellular repair, rejuvenation and recovery. Together, they provide a more complete approach to supporting clearer, calmer and healthier-looking skin.

Our full-body BIOMAX 900 delivers seven different wavelengths in one session, supporting far more than skin alone.

Do you need a reset?

We’re coming out of the busy energy of summer and moving into a slower season. This is a natural time to pause, quiet the nervous system, ease some of the stress your body has been carrying, and prepare your mind and body for autumn.

Our Oceanview Collection was created for exactly that… a thoughtful combination of therapeutic massage, Reiki, and restorative recovery experiences designed to help you feel grounded, rested, and more like yourself again.

Not because you need to do more.

Because sometimes, you need a little space to simply reset.

It’s not often I get to see the water view from my front door because of the parking lot, but this morning the trucks are gone, the weather is perfect and the breeze is flowing right through from the front door to the back door. Kind of a perfect day if you ask me!
