Let’s talk about reverse freckles!
Also known as idiopathic Guttate Hypomelanosis.
They are most common on the legs and arms. They’re caused by sun exposure, aging, genetics and over exfoliating. While there are some treatments (steroids, retinoids) once the pigment is gone it is very difficult to restore. You can do your part by wearing SPF everyday and reapplying regularly!
