Shevon Neely R.D.H.

Shevon was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Trinidad, She lived in Brooklyn NY for 11 years before moving to Pennsylvania 4 years ago and now resides in East Stroudsburg with her husband and cat. She acquired her AAS degree and license for local anesthesia and nitrous oxide in 2011 from Hostos Community College located in Bronx NY. Shevon has worked as a dental hygienist for 10 years and takes pride in performing a gentle detailed dental cleaning and sharing her oral hygiene knowledge with patients. She loves spending time with her family/cat, the outdoors and traveling.

Dr. Sameer Kapoor is a native from Allentown, PA. He graduated from Parkland High School and attended Temple University where he received his Baccalaureate and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science with high honors. Upon graduating, Dr. Sam became a college professor teaching Biology, Anatomy and Physiology. However, his passion was to become a dentist. He decided to continue his education at SUNY, where he received his D.D.S.

Once he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery, he decided to continue his studies in periodontics at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, where he graduated with a Master of Science in Periodontology and a minor in oral pathology.

During this time, Dr. Sam worked at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Indianapolis, where he obtained a certificate in periodontics and dental implant surgery. He received advanced training in dental implant surgery, gum grafting, bone grafting, oral surgery, sedation and oral medicine. Dr. Sam credits his time at the Veteran’s Center for his ability to create a calming environment for his patients with high anxiety- a gift his patients continue to tout today. Sam’s extensive medical journey prepared him well in understanding how oral health plays into a patient’s overall health. Sam is passionate about getting to know his patients and offering them the most state-of-the-art techniques in periodontics and dental implant surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Sam enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Sam’s entire extended family resides in the Lehigh valley. Dr. Sam’s wife is a dermatologist. She sub-specializes in MOHS and Cosmetic Surgery and practices in the Lehigh Valley. The two of them enjoy spending time with their latest addition to the family, little baby Harris.
