20 Things You May Not Know About Me by Chatty-B…. These are spot on except one…. Read on to see which one!

1. I’m a mom. My family is my biggest why.
2. I’m an Army wife. I’ve gotten pretty good at starting over. 😂
3. I’ve been in beauty for 20+ years. And I’ve done a little of everything!
4. I started teeth whitening in 2019 overseas. It completely changed my path.
5. I’m a huge animal person. I will find the animal in the room. 😂 (this is not correct. We do happen to have a lot of animals- 4 dogs, I bearded dragon, 2 ball pythons, 1 boa, 4 reticulated pythons however, I was tricked into them and while I take care of them, I could do without them all🤣)
6. I’m actually pretty introverted. Home in my pajamas is my happy place.
7. Avery Oasis started with just me in a suite. We’ve come a long way!
8. Headspa wasn’t the original plan. I took a chance, got booked out, and everything changed.
9. I LOVE creating things. My brain usually has 47 ideas going at once. 😂
10. I notice every little detail. Lighting, smells, music, decor—all of it.
11. I genuinely love taking care of people. It’s my favorite part of what I do.
12. Military life taught me to pivot. Plans change. You figure it out.
13. I believe women should have their own income (if they want) It’s a huge reason I teach.
14. Owning my own spa still feels surreal. Especially knowing where I started.
15. I’m always changing something. 😂 Avery Oasis is never really “finished.”
16. I’m terrible at sitting still. I’ll always find another project.
17. I’m a learn-as-I-go person. Start first. Figure out the next step later.
18. I love helping women realize they can do this too. That’s my favorite part of the Academy.
19. I created the spa I’d want to visit. Cozy, quiet, luxurious and never rushed.
20. I’m still figuring it all out. Mom, wife, owner, educator, employer—and building a life I’m proud of. 🤍
