Her love for locs started about four years ago when she began maintaining locs for her loved ones. That hands-on experience sparked a deep commitment to the craft, and she’s been learning and growing in the art of locs ever since. 🌱

• She’s a praise dancer, using movement as a powerful and joyful form of expression 💃🏽

2️⃣ She’s been an ESE educator for over 20 years and a kitchen beautician for nearly 30

A skilled loctician with over 6 years of experience, Taylor Monèt is known for her precision parting, healthy loc techniques, and a commitment to excellence that shows in every style she creates. At just 28, she blends technical skill, creativity, and care—making every client feel seen, heard, and crowned.

Originally from Chicago, Taylor now manages the team at Orlando Lox Bar, where she’s become the go-to for neat, long-lasting loc styles that prioritize the health of your hair and scalp.
