She’s an autumn! This means her custom color palette is all about enhancing her natural warmth. During her consultation, we focused on finding shades that would complement her undertone and still be low maintenance.

We did soft face-framing highlights that draped beautifully around her features, paired with a multidimensional balayage for that sun-kissed look. Chestnut and toffee blonde shades truly enhanced her skin tone and created a radiant, glow from within aesthetic.

For as long as I've known my nieces, they've always had their own distinct styles and personalities despite being identical twins.

Her sister was the one with red highlights and a hush cut, while this one opted for an electric purple and long layers.

I love that they gave me a little switch up from the usual neutral colors!

It was an absolute honor to doll up this timeless beauty for her special occasion. Over the years, she’s faced health challenges that led to some hair loss, so we created a formal updo designed to minimize scalp visibility while complementing her elegant dress.

Her makeup was kept soft and simple. Just enough to enhance her natural beauty and bring out a healthy, youthful glow.

Is it still smokey out there?

It is over here! Smokey beige hair is the perfect in between shade for that ashy color that isn't going to be harsh against yellow-olive skin tones. It still has a balanced warmth to enhance your beauty.

Also, we opted for a haircut to add some shape without taking off too much length. Some of her ends still held onto older, porous blonde, which left behind a bit of warmth. It isn't always possible to pick up every last strand as it can risk unnecessary breakage, so we took a gentle approach and left room for future trims as the hair continues to grow healthy and strong.

She just wanted a trim and something subtle. Nothing too drastic... Maybe I misunderstood the assignment? She still paid and said she'll refer her friends over. 🤔

🤣 I love that she wanted a full transformation. I even felt like I didn't recognize her as the same client that walked in.

A solid color can still have subtle dimensions throughout and reflect a variation of undertones in different lighting.
