My husband has been promoted from āunofficialā unpaid internship to āofficialā unpaid internship āØ
Please welcome my husband, Cho, to the team! From now on, you may be communicating with him when reaching out about products/appointments. He will essentially play an administration role for meāthe things I need help with so I can focus on being hands-on with you. You may occasionally see him at the studio helping check in/out, cleaning, and keeping me sane.
A quick debrief about Cho:
- He was Active Duty Air Force from December 2018-December 2024 (we were babies when he joined)
- Heās 10 days younger than me
- He was the one who offered to help me so donāt feel bad for him about his promotion š

I know Iām moving in a couple of months, but I just couldnāt help it! So hereās a revamped Her Studio. More privacy, more relaxing vibes. This is just the beginning. Plenty of new exciting things coming soon after. āØ
A consistent skincare routine (with SPF), will make your treatments yield long-term results VS short-term.
Think of it as going to the gym. Most of the times, you also have to be mindful of foods and add in supplements to get to your health goals. Thatās the same with skincareāyou still need to do the work at home to support in-clinic treatments to achieve the best results.

I learned so many new things during my trainingāapplication/removal techniques for certain treatments, fun protocols Iāve never tried, and gaining an insight to what my dream facial menu will look like. Iām excited to implement some of these things soon or in the near future! š«¶š¼
I got to experience an amazing one-on-one training with my Korean skincare distributor . This has been a long awaited dream of mine since I applied for esthetician school 2.5 years ago. Iām so happy I finally made it come true!

These are usually topics I donāt discuss with clients unless weāve established an appropriate relationship that has naturally led up to the topic as some can be hard to talk about.
But I love that I have a variety of clients I can dive deeply into different parts of myself with. Some I talk openly about my experiences as an Asian woman, connect over spirituality, relate with mental health issues, or chat about business ideas.
