Tonight’s sound bath altar was a nod to the changing seasons and a deep bow to the low hanging fruits that didn’t quite make the harvest.
Fall can be a time that is both bountiful and bittersweet. Harvest brings celebration of what came to fruition, but also asks us to honor what didn’t. The things we watered and tended but didn’t come to be. It’s hard to let go sometimes, to release these things rather than drag them forward. But carrying that weight isn’t any easier. So let it go. Give it back to your dark soil, and let that wisdom serve as richness and nourishment for your next period of growth.

I was asked by a bride to create an herbal smokeless smudge for her wedding spaces and it was an absolute joy to fulfill her request. I bring a variety of offerings to my community, but at the heart of it all, I’m a green witch. Stepping into the magical world of plant essence and energetics, and intentional co-creation with the green world, is just so special and fulfilling. 🌿🌱

These gorgeous herbs were gently brewed into tea-like room spray. And will keep in her refrigerator for months, giving her the ability to weave these blessings into many spaces in the future as well. ✨

Hiking to the top of the world is a beautiful way of celebrating what you made of your rock bottom. I have no profound philosophy to share about it either, just this peace in my heart.

Can I beg you to meet me gently with the taking?
I love fiercely the warmth of sunshine on my face,
Yet feel your presence with the shortened days.

Yet feel your presence as her temperature drops.
I love fiercely the colors in bloom,
Yet feel your presence in the wildflowers wilting.
I know the cost of gripping what I love fiercely,
When a season of ending comes to take.

I went down to the river yesterday with an offering, and the intention of saying thank you for all of the ways she held me this season and all of the wisdom she opened me up to.  I offered her a white rose for every month we’ve shared, and poured ceremonial cacao into her current as an offering of gratitude and my love for her waters. This truly is such a special place to me. 🌊🤍

My friend brought her telescope over and together we witnessed the moon carrying both shadow and light. What a stunning embodiment of not choosing one or the other, but holding the wholeness of ourselves.🖤
