Idle Nails
Nail salon located within Artboxx salon. Services currently offered range from normal manicures to a full set of sculpted acrylics/hard gels and pedicures.
By appointment only please.
Good morning! I know this is not going to come as a surprise to my regulars but I thought an official announcement should be made.
I will only accept appointments through Dec 11. After that Idle Nails will be closing. I will also be disabling all booking options except messages through FB messenger starting today.
This isn't because I don't enjoy this or I because Covid was stopping me from being successful. Quite the opposite. My main career has actually taken off and expanded as this year has progressed. This has left me with the increasingly difficult job of juggling all the draws on my time. Something had to give.
I want to thank each and every one of you that has helped to make this endeavor of mine a success while it lasted. Happy Holidays and please stay safe and healthy out there.
Hey everyone! As many of you know this is not my primary job. My day job has been picking up speed and I have been asked to travel and help with special projects. This means I will be gone for 2 weeks. I will be back home, hopefully, by the 23rd. I will be unable to see anyone until after that day. I want to thank everyone for their patience with this! I look forward to seeing you all then!

Hello my lovelies! Another photo dump of all the amazing nails you’ve been asking me to do. I hope everyone is staying healthy and happy!

Oh man I haven’t done a photo dump in a hot second! Follow me on Instagram if you’d like more real time-ish updates! Thank you to everyone who has been keeping my appointment book full!
Also a reminder that I’m going to be closed July 31-Aug 7. Also I’m setting a new expectation that appointments be booked a week prior.

Hey everyone! Heads up on availability. I am going to be on vacation July 31 - Aug 7th. I will not be taking any bookings during this week.
Second heads up! Starting July 13 I will require a min 7 day notice for booking an appt. I love you all and I want to make sure I get you all in but I also need to make sure I’m able to still make plans in my life away from work. Stop laughing. I have a life outside of work! Honest! 🤣
The 24 hour cancellation notice is still the standard so no changes there. Thank you all for being so understanding. 😊

*$10 up charge if you want a full set instead of gel polish.

Back in action! Openings available next week if you’re wanting to get in. Shoot me a message to book. 😊

Starting May 26th. Hours will be M-F after 5pm by appointment only. Face masks and hand washing are required. Please private message me to set up an appointment.
***EC County gave clarification. Very sorry about any confusion!***
Hi guys! It has been a hot second hasn't it?! So I know everyone has been watching the news. Yes, I'm aware of the announcements. The plan is to **HOPEFULLY** be open starting Tuesday May 26th. I know things are opening up sooner but I have made this choice to allow myself time to reach out to all of you. And to make sure I am offering the safest and best services I can to my clients. It's the least I can do for the trust you guys put in me.
Here's how booking is going to work.
If you had an appointment that was cancelled due to the shut down I will give you priority and contact you individually to rebook.
Once these are booked I will contact each of you individually that have expressed a desire for an appointment.
After that I will announce open booking availability that will be done the same way as before the shut down.
***My hours will be M-F after 5pm by appointment only.***
I am not planning Saturday appointments at this time. That is subject to change depending on client volume and work/life balance.
When I open there will be Non-negotiable requirements for both myself and my clients:
**Both of us will be wearing face masks for the entirety of the appointment. Cloth masks are fine. If you do not have a mask let me know and I will provide one for you.
**Only you and myself will be in the room. (not normally an issue but it's best if all expectations are discussed.)
**Both you and I will wash our hands with soap and water prior to any service. Disposable paper towels will be provided for drying in place of the normal washable ones I use until further notice.
**If you are ill, have symptoms, or a fever (yes, I will have a thermometer and will be taking your temp.) I will ask you to reschedule. I know that all my amazing clients would re-book if they were sick regardless of a pandemic but again... setting those expectations.
**There will be a mandatory 15 min block between each client. This is to allow me time to wipe down everything that's been touched with hospital grade sanitizer.
**I will not be accepting cash for the time being. I have the ability and am more than willing to take card payments (swipe or chip), venmo, or cashapp. If there's a way you prefer to pay that I didn't list let me know and I'll do what I can to accommodate.
These are all subject to change based on CDC and State recommendations as well as my own personal choices. I want us all to stay healthy and safe. If you feel I'm going a little overboard... I might be. But an ounce of prevention as they say. I can't wait to see all of you again!

Hello all my amazing people. I'm still closed (sadly) and not taking appointments. However, as long as the stay at home order doesn't get extended I'm hoping to open my books for appointments in May sometime in the next two weeks. In the mean time I know some of you might be struggling. Here's a really great, to the point video, on how to do a "good enough" manicure until we can see each other again. I hope you're all staying safe and finding ways to not let this stressful time get to you.
How to Get Your Nails Through Quarantine If you’re sitting at home with outgrown nails- this video is for you! Today Tracey shows you how to do what she calls a “good enough manicure” until you can ...

Hey everyone! We all knew it was coming but now it’s official. Depending on how long this lasts I will reach out to each client individually that this closure impacts. Stay safe!
