The first week of my reign commenced with preparing 10 meal kits for the Life House Youth Center! I also got the chance to go onsite and visit their community pantry and closet.

Nine years ago today, Victoria Siegel lost her life due to a drug overdose. We recognize today, June 6th, as National Naloxone Awareness Day in her memory. As the opioid crisis continues to impact families and communities nationwide, the day is intended to help educate people on the dangers of opioid use and the importance of access to life-saving overdose reversal medications, like naloxone.

Most opioid overdoses are witnessed by another individual, so you can help save a life by carrying naloxone—it could be someone you know. Join us today as we honor Victoria’s memory and acknowledge David and Jackie Siegel’s hard work and advocacy with Victoria’s Voice Foundation. Their mission of fighting the drug crisis in our country has allowed Victoria’s memory and voice to continue on in the many lives they’ve dedicated themselves to saving. 👏💜

Today, June 6, is National Narcan Awareness Day spearheaded by David & Jackie Siegel to raise awareness of the opioid epidemic that is becoming one of the major cause of deaths in our nation.

After the loss of their daughter Victoria, due to an accidental overdose, they have turned their heart ache into a campaign to save lives. There is no doubt that if Narcan was available then, Victoria would still be here today!

We are extremely honored to have the Victoria's Voice Foundation as the official charity for Mrs.
America Inc. and to be Beauty for Good Ambassadors to help combat this epidemic.
