Hi lovelies!

I’m headed back to Roatán, Honduras at the end of September and I came across a request for children’s books for kids ages 5 to 11.

I’m collecting new or gently used beginner readers, sight word books, Learn to Read levels 1 through 4, Dr. Seuss type books, and books with lots of pictures.
Roatán is my favorite place in the world, and because I’m lucky enough to spend time there, I feel strongly about finding meaningful ways to give back to the people who call the island home. This is such a simple way to help.

I’m also looking for a medium suitcase or large backpack that I can keep, not borrow, to pack the books in and leave on the island.
Donations can be dropped off at ColorJamBeauty through September 24th.

If you have books your kids or grandkids have outgrown, I’d love to give them a new home in Roatán. Or if you feel like grabbing a book or two on your next Target run, those would be greatly appreciated too.

The past few days I attended the “BTC Show” in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and this industry is incredible. Full of talent, creativity and knowledge.

I’ve always said, “Learn from the best to become the best,” and I was in the room with THE BEST in the industry.

I am renewed. I am inspired. And I am so excited about what is coming for ColorJamBeauty.

Attending this show also reminded me that, gosh, I love this thing I call a “job.”

It’s so much more. It’s my dream, my passion, my career, my craft. It makes me happy. It fills my bucket, all of my buckets.

What an amazing life this career has given me.

I always say my job is like a party because I get to hang out with my friends all day and make them beautiful. And at the end of the day, it’s not even about me. It’s about every single one of YOU.
