Happy September! 🍁 I hope everyone had an amazing summer! Mine was a whirlwind—from exploring Amsterdam and Norway to celebrating a cousin’s wedding and birthdays. We wrapped it all up over Labor Day at the cabin, where Goose went swimming for the very first time! 🐾
This season always puts me in the mood to declutter. Several closets in my house need serious help, but to keep from getting overwhelmed, I’m starting strictly with clothes.For the month of September, I am collecting donations for STEP in St. Louis Park. They are looking for new or gently used items. If you are cleaning out your spaces, I would love to take these off your hands:
Clothing, outerwear, and shoes (all ages)
Jewelry and accessories
Toys, games, and puzzles

June was a total whirlwind!
We kicked things off visiting friends in Florida, then zipped up to Ely, celebrated Pride Month, got Goose signed up for an agility class, and threw a puppy party-everything flew by way too fast.
With such a busy schedule, I haven’t had much time to do another self care for a cause, so l’m putting together a donation drive for July. This month, I’m supporting VEAP.
VEAP does incredible work to tackle food insecurity and provide essential social services.
They’re always looking for food donations, cash contributions (just $1 can provide six meals), and volunteers to help pack food shelves or deliver meals through Meals on Wheels.

For anyone who wants to donate items, feel free to bring them along to your appointment this month. Here’s what they need:
- Hearty soups (high protein, low sodium)
- Canned protein (salmon, chicken, beans)
Canned fruit
Diced tomatoes
Cooking oil
Baking essentials (flour, sugar, spices)
Dish soap
Baby wipes
Shampoo
Toothpaste
Hand soap
Pet food
Menstrual products
Children’s books

I’m still thinking about puppies 💭 🫶🏻 🐶…
A big thank you to everyone who came to my puppy party! Huge shoutout to Harlowe Salon for being such an amazing host, and to my mom, Auntie Shell, and Pat for all their hard work in putting it together. It really let me just enjoy the pups!
Just to clear things up, there’s no issue on Vagaro; I’ll be available for a few hours on July 4th. Plus, I’m opening up more Monday slots this summer since that day seems to be a favorite for appointments. Weekends are getting pretty packed!
I’m heading up north this weekend and loving the cooler weather—hope you are too!

If you couldn’t make it to the puppy party, no worries; I’ll definitely be hosting more puppy parties down the line!

Happy June!

Last week in Florida was a blast! I got to hang out with amazing friends and some adorable animals. Watching dolphins and manatees was a highlight, and I loved snuggling with Charlie, the chocolate lab, for a cozy nap on our friend’s boat.

I’m super excited for my puppy party this Sunday, June 14th! Can’t wait to see everyone there! We’ll kick things off from 10 AM to 12 PM at Harlowe Salon in Saint Louis Park, right next to St. Louis Park High School.

Also, I’m opening up more Mondays this summer since they’ve been a hit with everyone while the kids are out of school. There are still spots available for Monday, June 22nd.
