Thinking about getting lip filler? Here are some of the most common questions we get:
Does it hurt?
We apply a numbing cream and let it sit before injecting to help keep you as comfortable as possible.
How long does it last?
Results typically last 9 months to 1 year, depending on how quickly your body metabolizes the filler. Sometimes it lasts even longer.
Will I swell or bruise?
Swelling and bruising are possible, but we provide detailed pre- and post-care instructions to help minimize the risk.
Will my lips look bumpy?
Mild lumps or bumps are common at first and usually settle as the filler integrates into the tissue within the first 2-3 weeks.
What happens right after?
Right after treatment, you can expect some redness and swelling. We’ll give you an ice pack to help manage it. Final results are typically seen after about two weeks.

This patient received dermal filler in her lips and around her mouth to support the lips. As we get older we begin to loose that natural volume and fillers can help restore that.
