Honored to be featured in OK Magazine alongside my mentor, Yakov Gershkovich — a true pioneer and one of the most influential educators in Sculptural Face Lifting. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from him, contribute to this article, and share a philosophy of beauty that goes far beyond the surface.

Here’s something most people don’t realize:

A skincare product isn’t effective simply because it contains a popular ingredient.

🍋 Take Vitamin C, for example.

A serum with 20% Vitamin C isn’t automatically better than one with 10%. In some cases, a higher concentration can increase irritation without delivering significantly better results.

🧴 The same goes for acids and retinoids. Stronger isn’t always smarter.

What matters is the formula as a whole:
• Which form of the ingredient is being used
• What concentration it’s present in
• How stable the formula is
• What other ingredients it’s paired with
• Whether your skin can actually tolerate and benefit from it

For example:

🧴 A retinol serum may perform better when paired with barrier-supporting ingredients like ceramides and niacinamide.

🍊 Vitamin C often works synergistically with Vitamin E and ferulic acid, helping improve stability and antioxidant protection.

And some combinations that look impressive on social media can be too aggressive for certain skin types when layered incorrectly.

This is why I don’t choose products based on trends.

I look at the science behind the formula, the condition of the skin in front of me, and whether that product fits into the client’s overall routine.

Because skincare isn’t about finding the “best” product.

It’s about finding the right product, in the right formula, for the right skin.

✨ Your skin doesn’t care what’s trending. It cares what works.

Face Sculpting changed for me when I stopped chasing choreography and started understanding anatomy.

Dehydrated skin is often misunderstood — it’s not a skin type, but a condition that can affect anyone, even oily skin.

It shows up as tightness, dullness, sensitivity, and a mix of oiliness with dryness.

You can’t fix it with moisturizer alone — the skin needs barrier support and deeper restoration.

One of the methods I use in practice is microneedling, to improve skin quality and help restore proper function over time.

If this sounds familiar, message me “Skin” and I’ll guide you.

Sometimes, a single event can truly transform your perspective on your work.

I recently attended the Evolon Aesthetic Forum —and it was one of those instances where you go seeking education, but leave with an entirely new perception of your profession.

Lectures, live demonstrations of procedures performed on models, speakers hailing from diverse corners of the aesthetic world...
And very quickly, the realization sets in: the industry is undergoing a profound transformation right now.

But one lecture, in particular, really resonated with me—the one given by (Harvard, TED Talks).
He didn’t speak about «success for the sake of success,» but rather about the things that are often overlooked:

— how to identify what my client can truly benefit from ;
— how to recognize your own strengths as a specialist;
— and how to articulate your work in a way that allows the other person to truly grasp the value of what you do.

And at a certain point, it ceases to be merely a learning experience.

You begin to view your work through a different lens.

Not just through the techniques and procedures themselves,
but through the way you structure your communication with clients—and how you define your own professional positioning.

And perhaps the most significant takeaway for me right now is quite simple:

I embrace the new, but I always amplify it through the lens of my own unique identity and an extensive 10- year experience in the field of esthetics .
