Dan's Barber Shop

It's hard to believe it's been just over a year since the shop closed for the last time. I want to thank you again for all the great years and unforgettable memories — they truly meant a lot. I hope you're doing well!
Things have been going really well in my new career, and I'm excited to share that I was recently promoted to Lieutenant. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to make such a big change and turn it into a success. It's been a challenging but rewarding journey, and I'm grateful for where it's led me.

Thank you for all the memories and all the years of support.

I will be in the shop again today. Lots of free stuff. If you know anyone that would like the awesome vintage waiting area chairs, let me know asap !

I’ll be at the shop for the next hour or so. Lots of cool free stuff to give away. Come take a piece of the shop home with you.

Dee is still cutting hair. She moved just down the road.

I’m re-posting this to clear up confusion. As of the end of business on 8/7/24 the shop will be closed for the last time. Dee will be working in the shop through July. If you have an appointment scheduled, don’t worry.

Lots of road work near the shop. Please plan for delays.

*Update 11:48, Wednesday, 1/10: Snowball has been found and is safe at home. Thank you so very much to everyone who helped. 🙏🏼

*Update 16:15, Tuesday, 1/9: Two traps and four cameras set. She was seen last night at 9:30 PM in someone’s backyard. One of the traps is set on their property.

*Update 14:33, Tuesday, 1/9. Homeowner spotted her in their backyard on Monday, 1/8 at 21:00.

Update 11:00, Tuesday, 1/9: No new sightings.

Vets and shelters have been called.
Edmonds PD Animal Control has been notified.
Signs have been put up.
Searching on foot and in vehicle is still occurring daily during daylight hours and late night/early morning hours. Every ditch, shrub, park has been combed.
Professional search and rescue companies are saying they can’t really help given the circumstances in which she went missing.
A huge thank you to everyone who has texted, called, left voice messages, made signs, searched for her and weighed in on the situation.
We’re incredibly worried about her and implore you to keep a look out and let us know. We follow up on every sighting lead so please let us know if you see her.

🆘LOST DOG‼️🚨

We are heartbroken to share that Snowball is missing. She arrived today and escaped.

She was last seen at approximately 4-4.30PM in the backyard of a house on 3rd Ave NW and NW 203rd St.

We believe she may have ran through/down the thicket towards Firdale Ave, by the main entrance of .

If spotted, please do not chase or call her name. Please try to keep eyes on her and call/text us at 206.678.6264.

She’s extremely scared and FAST. She isn’t reactive/aggressive. She’s fixed, microchipped and current on shots.

We’ve posted on FB groups Lost Dogs of King County and Lost Dogs of Snohomish County. If you belong to any other FB group that might be relevant to finding her, please share our FB post to those groups. Edmonds PD Animal Control has been informed.

If you have nothing helpful/productive to say, please refrain from hateful/judgmental comments of the Karen variety. We’ve handled almost 700 dogs and this is the first dog that’s escaped. We’re worried sick and have been out looking in the dark and pouring rain for the past 4.5 hours. We pray she finds a warm place to rest tonight.
