Sometimes a client wants dimension while still remaining bright in the places that matter most. Knowing your placement is key to giving your client the results they’re looking for.
For this client, it was “where the sun hits” — aka the hairline and crown.
Instead of adding more foils everywhere, we focused our brightness where it naturally catches the light, while allowing depth and dimension to remain throughout the rest of the hair.
It’s not always about adding more lightness, it’s about putting the lightness in the right places.

I use a demi-permanent color to camouflage grays rather than completely cover them. Because a demi doesn’t permanently lift or deposit like permanent color, it creates a softer, more natural result that gradually fades over time.
