PowerTherapeutic Massage is restructuring.
The current location will close effective December 23, 2025, but Deb will continue to work with clients from her home north of town.
Megan Arney will be staying at home with her new baby Mabel, and other two children Nora, and Milo.
Bill Walters is taking some time off from massage as things are really busy with his full time job at Rush Truck Centers.
Keri Baird is keeping busy with her massage business and yoga studio in Mattoon, IL.
Ginny Liss Roestel has moved to Jefferson City, Mo. where she is busy with her careers as LMT, PTA, and Yoga Instructor.
Lori Klanke is continuing her Reiki Healing practice, but is looking for a new location to work out of. (So if any of you know of a spot, please let her know).
Laura Greuel has opened a massage business here in Effingham.

I want to personally thank the staff for their loyalty, dedication and support throughout the years. You have been such a blessing to me and to the clients you have laid your healing hands on!

Ortho-Bionomy® is a gentle, non-invasive, system of healing that reminds the body of its natural ability to restore balance.

NO PREREQUISITES...BEGINNERS WELCOME!
You will learn to release trigger points without creating pain and to use preferred postures to relieve tension and discomfort. The theoretical foundations for this course are Osteopathic based with a strong focus on neuromuscular dysfunction. Layer Palpation practice will also be introduced. Applied and experiential anatomy of the muscular system is the foundation of this approach and will be emphasized during lecture, demonstration and laboratory sessions. All body regions will be addressed in this workshop including pelvis, lower extremities, trunk, upper extremities, and spine.

These techniques are effective, easy on the body, gentle to both client and practitioner. They can be effectively combined with massage and other bodywork modalities. This is a hands-on workshop.

Registration fee is $325 by 02-11-2023. Sixteen (16) CEUs available for $20 for massage therapists, physical therapist, occupational therapists, nurses and other health professionals.

Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required.
Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
