As I sit here & reminse my esthetics path, I decided to share something. Today Jan 24th, marks a special day in my memory of dates in my collective of special events & memories in my life. 17 years ago exact to this date I began my career & journey in the skin industry. My 1st reaction is OH MY GOSH IM GETTING OLD! No, that is my second, my first is how did 17 years pass so quickly? It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in theory class w/such excitement & eagerness to learn w/ my esthetics books & sitting there having the teacher scar our minds to be afraid of STATE BOARD & how militant and hard it would be to pass their examinations. Arriving to this skincare path was easy for me as I knew what I wanted to do at a young age. My ideas of what I wanted out of it shifted a few times but I believe these years passed so quickly for me bc I not only stuck w/ it but this truly is my passion & I know in my heart & my soul that this is where I am suppose to be career and life wise. I get to help people look & feel there best. I get to be there for them on their terrible days, their best days, & all the days in between. Being able to unveil & expose someone’s true skincare goals & beauty brings literal tears to my eyes. To see the confidence grow in someone from something that once made them so self conscious & sad is something in me that I cannot put in to words how it makes me feel. Thank you all who have believed & supported me. I will continue to provide & offer the best of the best for all of you as I have done so all along. From starting out renting a room in a little spa to opening my own little The Skin Boutique, adding different services & med spa services , moving the Spa bigger location, to my OWN SKINCARE LINE, I will continue to provide & give my best. A lot of good old fashion hard work, growth, blood, sweat & tears has gone into my 17 years of building and learning my business & I look forward to 17 more years I can give to this amazing work I get to do every day.
