Nails by Vivian

♥️

Nails by Vivian would like to explain a situation that occurred earlier today. A customer walked in without an appt and then accused us of turning them away because they are transgender. This is far from the truth as we have never and will never discriminate against any person regardless of race or gender. We have been serving customers of all race and genders in El Cerrito and surrounding communities for the past 10 years. We have many transgender customers and we fully welcome the LGBT community. Their review of our establishment seem harsh and very unfair. They walked in on a busy holiday morning without an appointment with extra, extra long and pointy talon style nails that was originally done at another salon. Not to mention 3 nails that were missing. There was no way we could accommodate them as a walk in when we were fully committed this morning. Although we have many employees, there are only 5 techs with acrylic expertise and they already have back to back appointments. This is the season to spread joy and happiness not hate and discrimination. Be well and stay healthy and happy to all my lovely customers!

Greetings everyone! I am asking for your help please. Does anybody recognize these two young ladies? They came into my salon and skipped out on a $300 bill. They pretended to be waiting for "their mom to come pay" but they ran out the front door. These types of conduct hurts small businesses and I would like to prevent them from doing this to other salons (this wasn't their first time). Thank you good folks!

We are fully aware about the Corona situation. We kindly ask that you reschedule your appt if you are feeling unwell, we will always welcome you back another day.
Our employees have been informed to wear face masks/gloves. When gloves cannot be worn, they are required to wash their hands with soap and warm water between every customer.
Our customers will be asked to wash their hands, we will spritz alcohol on your fingers and nails prior to starting dipping powder, gel manicures, etc. We do have hand sanitizers at the front desk. We are wiping down counters and surfaces with bleach every couple hours. Let’s do our part to keep EVERYBODY healthy/happy 🥰

Thanks for working so many extra hours. I don't know what we would've done without the extra help with all the extra seasonal business. I am grateful to have you as part of our team.
