How does one develop mastery and reputation; by developing one's expertise and years of practice of course - Mrs. Donaldson as been braiding since she was 9 years old and she as always been interested in various forms of creative expression - hair design and her musical pursuits. She is the most professionally passionate about learning and developing her craft; four and a half years ago, she made a decision to make a serious push at growing her business. She graduated from Paul Mitchell Cosmetology in 2012. Since then she as been running her own hair design business and working as a Platform Artist/Teacher at various hair shows nationwide; where she teaches other professionals and students. " I'm all about the hair/scalp care, keeping the integrity of the customer's hair and to offer excellent product knowledge...", "Great style means nothing, if it causes you to loose your hair". Donaldson as accumulated an impressive clients following through-out her career; her work as become the backbone of her marketing effort and as helped to grow her business over time. When working with her clients she recommends "...maintaining great energy, using holistic processes to keep Clients calm and taking care of themselves from the inside out". Donaldson business is called Ma'atxxiii, named for Ma'at the Egyptian goddess of goodness and truth - this is the foundation she as based her business/life on. The number 23 is also symbolic because it as followed her throughout her life - her name has 23 letters, she was born on January 23rd and there is a 23 in the address of the shop where her business is located. She was born and raised in San Francisco, she still resides here till this day. She is personally passionate about creative endeavours such as art & music and wants to be remembered as an Artist.

With a full heart I want to say thank you to everyone that rocked with yesterday at . I started this business shortly after my mommy passed away to keep her legacy going here on earth. Everyone loved my mommy & her presence, and to share the beautiful energy of crystals in her name is a honor. As we approach her death day I can’t help but cry tears of joy knowing that she’s there with us every step of the way. I love y’all and thank you for helping me keep her alive all the while experiencing the healing powers from the earth 💫😇
