Grey transition looks different depending on how much natural salt and pepper hair you actually have.
The first guest in this video is almost 100% salt grey, which means blonde blends beautifully and the regrowth line becomes incredibly soft and low maintenance.
The second guest is closer to 90% salt grey. You can still see some regrowth, but notice how much softer it is compared to maintaining a darker color.
This is why “just go blonde” is not always the answer for grey coverage.
For guests who are closer to 50% grey hair, going overly blonde or heavily highlighted often creates more contrast, more warmth, more maintenance, and can actually make the grey feel more noticeable instead of less.
Grey management is all about working with your natural pattern, percentage, lifestyle, and maintenance goals.
The goal is not chasing one formula for everyone.

April Photo Dump!
This month was chaotic in the best way. We did a family road trip to Death Valley and make a quick stop in Vegas. On the way Santino wanted to stop at Chillis so he could attempt the viral cheese pull and it didn't disappoint.
My good friend came to visit and we had a blast! We did a couple great walks, on one I found the tiniest snail I've ever seen. And we toured the original Capital building in Benicia.
To top it all off I was able to chaperone a field trip for Santino to the Academy of Science. I had a blast and was even told by the kids that I was "a W" chaperone. If you don't know 4th grade slang it means they really liked having me.
I am fully looking forward to a relaxing May before we kick off a fun summer.
