Woo hoo! 💰Good news for Serrano 💵

Mello-Roos end in sight for Serrano In 1991 laws did not require that an end date be specified for Mello-Roos taxes. The lack of a sunset clause meant that residents paid Mello-Roos taxes in perpetuity or until the projects outlined in the agreement were completed. Current laws require a 40-year limit.
