She trusted the Veronica - El Paso TX PMU Artist healing process!💞 It’s normal to feel apprehensive about getting permanent makeup on your brows. After all, it’s your beautiful face we’re talking about. Here’s a few common questions that I get:

⚫️ Will my brows end up looking too dark⁉️

✨Answer: As your skin heals, pigment will naturally fade 30-60%. For this reason, a touch-session is required if this is your very first time. We will choose a color that compliments your natural brow color and we can even decide to go a bit lighter and be conservative on the first session and see how you heal. Most clients request to go a bit darker on their touch-up session.💫

⚫️ Will it hurt⁉️

✨Answer: I prefer to use a primary numbing to pre-numb for at least 25 minutes before we start, and I also use a secondary numbing to numb along the process. I encourage you to let me know if/when you feel something out of your comfort level and I will adjust my technique and additional use of secondary numbing. I can’t say the process is 100% pain free, but I can tell you that almost all my clients drift into a comfortable sleep while I work on their brows. 😴😉

⚫️ Will my brows look like two dark tattoo lines⁉️

✨Answer: Absolutely Not! Permanent Makeup techniques have come a long way and the days of solid-line, thick, blocky brows is long gone. Combination Brows is one of my most requested techniques. As shown on this post, hair-like strokes add dimension to naturally sparse brows and pixelated shading gives a makeup effect to achieve a natural look. You wake up and your brows are done and ready without effort!💫

Initial aftercare is for a period of 10-14 days and brows will lighten as the healing process takes place. The touch-up session will be 6-8 weeks after initial session to evaluate healing, refine shape, fill in areas where pigment healed lighter or didn’t retain.

This is a two-session process for clients that have never had any type of PMU. Immediately after the initial session, the pigment will appear intense and will lighten up as the healing process continues for the next 6-8 weeks.

When clients return for their touch-up (second session), the typical first session result is expected to look 20 - 50% lighter once fully healed. The touch-up session is essential to correct any uneven pigment retention, fill small gaps, refine shape, adjust the color and or build more density to the brows. Having proper aftercare after each session is super important to be able to achieve best results possible.
