The importance of sunscreen!!!!!
Most common myths and excuses about sunscreen:
1. I don’t need to wear it if I’m already darker.
2. I don’t need any if it’s cloudy.
3. I don’t need any because I don’t work outside.
4. I don’t use it because it’s harmful.
5. It smells weird.
6. It feels greasy.
7. It leaves a white tint on me.
All excuses. While some of the lasts ones are subject to opinion, there is always an option, there are matte formulas, some that don’t leave a white residue, even a few brands make citrusy scents.
All skin tones need to wear sun protection to avoid premature aging, skin damage and diseases.
A cloudy day doesn’t mean that you’re protected from the sun, your skin is still absorbing sun rays although we can’t see them.
Daily application of sunscreen will ensure the best protection posible from sun damage. Sun rays come in through windows, they bounce of the floor, and still get absorbed by the skin.
