As a Black woman business owner, I don’t take this journey for granted. Building something from the ground up takes faith, resilience, and a whole lot of hard work.
One of the things I’m most proud of is being part of a community filled with talented, driven, and inspiring entrepreneurs, especially women and women of color who continue to create opportunities, break barriers, and build lasting legacies for their families and communities.

✨ Story Time: How SavaeSkye Naturals Came to Life ✨
This brand didn’t start in a lab or a storefront… it started in my intro to business class at Liberty University in 2023.
While completing my undergraduate degree in business, I was given a project to create a startup from the ground up. I had no idea that assignment would quietly plant a seed that would grow into something so meaningful. I created a business concept, gave it a name, and built an idea that felt bigger than just a grade. Savae is my oldest daughter’s middle name and Skye is my baby girl’s middle name.. 🥺
That’s where SavaeSkye Naturals was born.
In 2025, I did a “meet your stylist” post and shared my “about me,” not fully realizing I was speaking my future into existence. My long-term vision was simple but powerful, to build a beauty brand that could last, rooted in care, intention, and love that my daughters, and their daughters after them, could carry forward.
Fast forward to March 2026, I officially obtained my LLC for SavaeSkye Naturals 🥰🥺🙏🏽 and began creating all-natural, plant-derived shampoo bars and products from home. What once lived in a college PowerPoint is now being crafted by hand with purpose and heart. ✨
As a hairstylist for years, I’ve always cared about healthy hair and healthy products for my clients. And as a mother, that care became even deeper, wanting better, cleaner, more nourishing options for my own family too. 🎀
Today, I’m a 38 yr old woman living in alignment with a dream planted years ago… 🤲🏽 I’m building something sustainable, meaningful, and rooted in legacy. 💚 I’m taking my time so all the products are perfect for YOU🫶🏽😊
