Salon Urbane Is located next to Elgin's famous Country Donuts. Owned by Christine Wozniak, who also is on the education team as a designer for the product line RUSK. This has been a roller coaster of a year! Life is changing in my personal world within the next few short weeks. I have had to make one of the hardest decisions I have ever faced. I have chose to walk away from the hair industry for a period of time to focus on raising the child I’m about to have enter the world.
I have devoted the last 15 years of my life to my career, and don’t want to miss any of those first milestones you gain as a new parent. Right now my heart is telling me to focus on this new priority. It was not simple to come to this. I love the community of incredible people I have served all these years, and not to mention the AMAZING team I was blessed to work along side with. I’m beyond grateful for the support and loyalty I have received. Without the right people, my dreams never would have came true. It’s proof you can do anything you want if you work hard enough at it!
As of the first of the new year we will be closing our doors at Salon Urbane and starting new chapters in our lives. We will be 100% transparent and remain in communication with all of our guests informing you of where your stylist will be located next.
Thank you for everything, it’s been one hell of a ride.

At our salon, our clients are treated like family. It’s not often you see a post of this nature. But we know what an incredible community we serve, we can all help the Dotson family.
