“This may be a lengthy post so bare with me! I don’t know if it was too many carbs, missing my sweet husband, or the fact that I have my two oldest daughters out Black Friday shopping for the first time that has me up until almost 2am but here I am. I was scrolling through my pictures on my phone trying to find a picture of my Granny, because I swear our new little Elizabeth favors her, and I came upon the picture on the left. I cried for ten solid minutes. Cried because I was in horrible shape. Cried because I was a shell of a person in that picture. Cried because had I known that picture was being taken it would have never happened. I don’t know that girl anymore. I’m so glad she is gone forever. I’m so glad that the little girl in that picture looking up at her Momma and learning from her will eat healthy food. I’m glad that she will eat quinoa. I’m glad that just the other night she ate TWO helpings of spaghetti squash. I only wish I had taught my other children these things but I am thankful that I’ve found a lifestyle change and they are following in my footsteps.
I know I blow your news feeds up with weight loss and health changing testimonies but if you will look at that sad unhealthy young lady on the left and then look at the happy healthy young lady on the right....that is my WHY!”
