HOLIDAY UPDATE
We will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, for the Holiday. Monday – Friday services will operate on a regular schedule for the week, and the following week will occur as usual.
For more information regarding holidays and delays please visit www.bordenwasteaway.com/resources
Due to the severe storms on June 12, some routes were unable to be completed safely last week. Our team is working hard to get everything cleaned up. If your pickup was missed, we will take care of it on your next scheduled service day.
Thank you for your patience—we hope everyone stayed safe!
Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions following an intense evening of storms, we have made the call to suspend services for Friday 6/12 and Saturday 6/13.
The safety of our serviced communities and our drivers is paramount, and our safety team is assessing the situation as it develops. Affected customers will have additional items serviced on their next service day. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Rechargeable batteries don’t belong in your trash or recycling bin.
When thrown away, these batteries can be crushed during collection and processing—leading to fires in garbage trucks, recycling facilities, and landfills. Even more concerning, these fires burn hotter, can reignite unexpectedly, and release harmful gases—putting workers and our community at risk.
What you can do:
Take rechargeable batteries to a designated battery recycling or household hazardous waste drop-off location. Consider taping the terminals or storing them separately until disposal.
A small step at home can help prevent fires, protect workers, and keep our community safe. Visit www.bordenwasteaway.com/resources for more information.
