Jackson Blvd. span closing for 6 months ELKHART — The Jackson Boulevard bridge over the Elkhart River, separating downtown Elkhart from the River District, will be closed for six months.

We have a date!!!!!

“Personal services, such as hair salons, barber shops, nail salons, spas and tattoo parlors also may open on May 11 by appointment only and must follow social distancing guidelines.”

I will start calling everyone on Monday to get appointments scheduled. I’m so excited!! I’ve missed you all!!!

Governor Holcomb has extended the stay at home order to 11:59pm on May 1st. Hopefully, this will be the last extension.
As soon as I know for sure, I will contact everyone and set up appointments.
I miss you all and look forward to seeing you again as soon as this is over. Stay healthy and if you need anything, please reach out!

Governor Holcomb recently changed the stay at home mandate to April 20th. So this means all salons will have to stay closed until at least that date.

I am so sorry to announce this, and trust me it hurts me as much as you not to be able to see you and make your nails beautiful.

In the meantime, stay healthy, stay positive and if you need anything PLEASE reach out!

Today is the 6th anniversary of receiving my nail technician license and the 1 year anniversary of signing the lease for my own salon 😊 It has been an amazing journey! Thank you to my family and friends for their support (mentally and physically). Above all, I want to thank my clients!! You are amazing!!! I love going to work and getting to chat with friends while doing nails.❤️ I can't wait to see what the next 6 years bring!!!

NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE:
Jackson Boulevard will be closed, from Goshen Avenue to Kenwood Avenue, for residential sewer repair beginning Wednesday, May 8. This portion of Jackson Boulevard is anticipated to be closed through Friday, May 10. Please allow for extra time when traveling in the area.

Hey everyone...just an FYI. E. Jackson Blvd will be closed from Johnson St to Elkhart Ave beginning today.

The revitalization of the Elkhart River District will continue in 2019 with additional streetscape work along Jackson Boulevard.

To accommodate these improvements, Jackson Boulevard, from Elkhart Avenue to Johnson Street is scheduled to be closed beginning Monday, March 18. This section is anticipated to reopen July 1.

Motorists will be detoured around the closure via Johnson Street, Elkhart Avenue, and Junior Achievement Drive. Businesses in the area will remain open, and additional detour signs will be posted to help patrons access these establishments. http://tinyurl.com/yxn7l37k
