✨ Why doesn’t every tattoo color break down the same during laser tattoo removal? ✨

Laser tattoo removal works by targeting pigment with specific wavelengths of light. Different ink colors absorb light differently — which means some colors respond FAST while others can be stubborn.

🖤 Black ink absorbs almost all laser wavelengths, making it the easiest color to remove.

❤️ Red, orange, and some warm tones usually respond well with the correct wavelength (like 532nm).

💚 Blues, greens, yellows, and pastel/light colors can be much more difficult because they reflect certain wavelengths instead of absorbing them. If the ink doesn’t absorb the laser energy properly, the pigment won’t fully “shatter.”

Other factors matter too:
• Ink brand & composition
• How deep the tattoo was placed
• Layering/cover-ups
• Age of the tattoo
• Your body’s immune system

This is why tattoo removal is never “one size fits all” and why some colors may need more sessions — or may not fully disappear.
