Well I think I’ve nailed it to perfection!! I love this mini loaves. Perfect gift and helpful in portion control if you can manage that. Used traditional sponge method and long fermentation/ soaking. Look how soft it is.

Who needs koolaide when you have Ozark breeze tea!
Jasmine and butterfly pea flowers are the perfect combo for a refreshing summer tea! I added monk fruit and a lemon wedge to brighten it up! Look at that beautiful color.

Good morning A Little South Wind Family!! We are heading back home to Arkansas from Minnesota family vacation! We had a great time and looking forward to being back home and in the swing of the Apothecary and Baking! This Friday will be our first Friday we will get to attend this year as we’ve have a busy summer so stop by and see us!
Meanwhile enjoy these awesome foraging finds. My brother in law knows some great harvest areas in Minnesota and put us on these beautiful Golden Chanterelles ( Cantharellus cibarius ) and we found some 🪸 coral mushrooms along the way (Clavariaceae). And yes the long sleeves and nets are 💯 necessary 😂 -

Wild food in Minnesota! Coral mushroom and Wild raspberries, wild blueberries, red elderberry,Saskatoon , fish! we have a lot of forgeable foods in Arkansas as well but there is an abundance of it here.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium ) is everywhere in Minnesota. So many medicinal uses and a beautiful flower with fern like leaves.
