My name is Shelly and I'm a web coding geek. I spent most of my life as the almost-tomboy, girl-next-door type. Somewhere around my 40th birthday (2014), I realized that I had been misinformed about a lot of things as a kid - skin tones, colors, fashion and clothing sizing... that misinformation shaped my (lack of) beauty and fashion sense, and as I started learning new things, I became obsessed. I also quickly found that there's a bit of a black hole when it comes to the 40-something beauty blogger. (Hello, out there! Where are you?!)

Debating between a matte finish and one with a noticeable sheen for blush. I opted for the one with sheen and... wow. It's almost a highlight! It's gorgeous - Moira Marvelous Baked Blush in wedding cake.
This Moira Supernova Multichrome eyeliner isn't just about the color shift, it applies so easily with a soft feel. It truly doesn't budge, even when I try to smudge it. It sets like a liquid liner, which was an unexpected bonus. If you want liner that stays put, this is it.
The glitter tissue paper I use for my shipped and Amazon packages used to not lose its glitter, but that has changed. Now glitter pieces fall off and that’s a hot mess. So I will be switching shortly to non-glitter tissue paper. As much as I love glitter, I only love it when it stays where it should! 🤣

I put on some MAC Paint Pot and then tried these Moira ChromaLight eyeshadows. If they're as good as the face products, my head might just explode! Seriously, these are legitimate drugstore prices, mostly under $10. Let's swatch the ChromaLight Shadow in 'Summer Dream' – it's a stunning mix of green, purple, and pinkish bronze. Absolutely beautiful!
