This beauty came to me wanting her frown lines treated. Her left brow pulls in more than her right. I used 20 units of Botox. I did not treat forehead. Her results are beautiful!! The pictures are at rest then with contraction and last photo of her raising her brows to show she still has forehead movement. 🤩

👩‍⚕️ Budgeting for Botox!!

There are a few factors that go into determining how much you might need to spend on your Botox.

1st- price per unit. I’ve been seeing $10-$15 per unit. Currently I charge $10 a unit.

2nd- How many units do you need? This is determined by your injector after doing a thorough assessment of the desired area in which you want the Botox, how strong the muscle is in that area, and how much surface area there is to inject.
Scowl lines or (11’s)- 10-25 units
Forehead- 10-25 units
Crows feet- 5-10 per side
Bunny lines- 2-4 total
Lip flip- 4 units
Gummy smile- 2-4 units
Eye brow lift- 2-4 units per brow
Smile lift- 2-4 units per side
Masseter- 15-25 per side
Relaxing dimpled chin- 4-8 units
Platysmal bands- 40-60 units
Results last 3-4 months.

3rd- Tipping- Since my Botox and Microneedeling services are under my medical license I choose to politely decline tips. This is helpful to know, so you can budget accordingly. This is not standard. Each injector gets to choose how they want to run their business.

4th- It is always OK to have a budget and not exceed it. Discuss this with your injector.🤩

Do you wash your face at night?? One simple step to improving your skin health today is washing your face every night. Aside from makeup there are oils, dirt, and environmental pollutants that build up on your face during the day, then buffed into your skin while you sleep. This can cause clogged pores, dry/dull skin, as well as areas of inflammation. For me, it flares up my allergies big time. If you haven’t started washing your face at night, no worries, just start with a couple nights a week and add a night each week. Progress over perfection, right?!

- if you wear makeup, cleanse twice
- Coconut oils is an amazing eye makeup remover (unless you are allergic). If you use it after you cleanse the residual oil is a great eyelash moisturizer. 🤗🤗

Microneedeling, also called collagen induction therapy is a procedure that creates controlled micro wounds over the face, neck, décolleté and other areas of the body using a microneedeling device. This stimulates your immune system to send new collagen and elastin. Over the following weeks and months that new collagen matures and becomes stronger. Treatment is good for fine lines, deeper wrinkles, uneven tone and texture, acne scars, sun spots, stretch marks, rosacea, traumatic scars. There is minimal discomfort with topical numbing cream. Expect 24-48hrs of significant facial redness. I will send home a post treatment skincare kit and discuss aftercare instructions. I recommend at least 3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart, then every 6 months after that. Treatment frequency can be tailored for each individual need. I’ve got the goods!!
Neuromodulators such as Botox and Xeomin are wrinkle relaxing medications that are injected directly into certain muscle groups of the face and/or neck to temparily decrease the appearance of wrinkles. They also prevent fine lines from deepening. They can create a slight eyebrow lift, upturn to corners of the mouth to reduce the appearance of prejawls, even a lip flip. This is a great way to achieve a slight lip fullness without jumping into dermal fillers. This treatment last 3-4 months. $10 per unit

These are areas of the face that are commonly treated with Botox. In addition, the masseter muscles of the jaw can be treated to decrease jaw clenching.
