The Barber Chop

Well folks, here it is!

After over six years working with the most hard working, fun, talented and amazing Bailey Duncan… it is my absolute honor to say that I am now the proud new owner of The Barber Chop.

I would like to start by saying this… I simply wouldn’t be here without Bailey. I have grown in every way imaginable working with her. She has poured her heart and soul in to cultivating something beyond “just a barbershop” - a positive and upbeat work environment, authentic friendships with our clientele, connection within our community of Ellensburg. Beyond that, I’ve gained a sisterhood and lifelong friendship. I’m not lost on how lucky I am to have found her to work with and lean on when what can go wrong… does. Never would I have thought that ten years later, after moving here at 20 years old with a few hundred bucks, (knowing all of three people) I would land here.

My goal moving forward is to retain and honor the values of the shop while adding my own creative touch once the dust settles. Bailey will be around for the foreseeable future, and of course Abi too! I feel so blessed to have these women working by my side while I navigate taking on the new responsibilities and challenges that come along with business ownership.

Last, but not least, we just would not be here without our patrons and community. So… a BIG thank you to our clientele - FRIENDS - for sticking with us through it all. Your support means everything and ultimately, it is our livelihoods. We are grateful beyond measure for you all.
