The Cottage Salon is looking for a licensed, experienced and highly motivated professional cosmetologist. Applicants must place high priority on customer service and are willing to promote themselves. We have been receiving a high volume of new clients that we don’t have the ability to fulfill. Our clients are so wonderful. This wonderful arrangement came from someone special created by Christians Flower Shop. A few of you had questions about payments. We are accepting cash,checks and credit cards. We are washing hair,but if prefer to do your own at home and come in wet that works too.
So far day 1 after quarantine is running smooth. Thank you all for the patience.

Hello everyone, we will open Tuesday, June 9. As of now we are only providing hair services. Our nail and waxing services will begin in phase 3.
These are our new guidelines that we have to follow.

1. A mask or face and nose covering must be worn at all times. If you are getting a hair service, please use mask with straps around the ears.

2. When you get to the parking lot please wait in your car and call the salon 845-647-1228( do not text your stylist, she is with a client and will not be looking at her phone). We will tell you when you can come in. Please do not bring anyone with you for your appointment. We have no waiting room. If the client is a young child and needs a parent or a client that requires a health aid please notify us so we can schedule your appointment at a appropriate time to keep up with social distancing.

3. Upon arrival your temperature will be taken with a touch less forehead thermometer. If you have a fever, you will be asked to rescheduled.

4. We will ask you to please sanitize your hands.

5. You will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire and sign a waiver. We are trying to protect all of us.

6. You may wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after signing the waiver. A pair of gloves will be provided for you during your service.

7. Our stylist will wear latex gloves will providing your service. If you have a latex allergy please notify us.

8. We are not allowing any outside food or beverages and none will be offered at this time.

9. Of course you can use our bathroom but please use yours at home before your appointment. To help keep exposure down we are trying to keep our bathroom usage down.

10. You should leave your purse in your car. Just come in with keys, method of payment and phone or tablet. For clients having a color service no reading material will be provided at this time. We do have free WiFi for your phone or tablet.

We are following all the mandated protocols for making your experience with us safe. Sorry if they may seem harsh. We have furthered educated ourselves on proper disinfectant and sanitation usage.We are only able to work at 50% capacity. Please have patience. We are doing our best to get everyone in. This is all new for everyone. We are allowing extra scheduled time per appointment for proper disinfecting.
We will be answering the phone on Tuesday,June 9 for appointments. To schedule an appointment before then please pm our page and your information will be given to your stylist.
