CONTRAINDICATIONS & EXCLUSION CRITERIA
Absolute Contraindications:
● G6PD deficiency (risk of hemolysis).
● Concomitant serotonergic/MAOI agents (e.g., SSRIs/SNRIs/MAOIs/TCAs, linezolid, tramadol, St. John’s Wort) — risk of serotonin syndrome.
● Known hypersensitivity to methylene blue or related dyes.
● Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
● Severe renal or hepatic impairment (accumulation/toxicity risk).
Relative Contraindications:
● Significant cardiovascular disease (BP effects)
● Seizure disorder
● Recent surgery/trauma
● Untreated endocrine issues

Administered via IV for maximum bioavailability, this therapy is provided under medical supervision to ensure safety and individualized care.
