Today is my 3rd REBIRTHDAY!!

I can’t believe 3 years have passed from the day I received literally the gift of life from my donor 🤍 For any of my new friends joining me here and anyone that may not know, REBIRTHDAY is the day received bone marrow stem cells to cure my rare blood cancer. I had intense chemo and a transplant at Northwestern and had the most incredible care with my love and my mom by my side.

Looking through photos to post today made me so emotional. I went through so many hair/wig phases to no hair and chubby steroid cheeks to no cheeks at all. Update on it all: I am doing amazing. I’m 100% my donor. Still on a bunch of meds but working off of those. If you see me quiet, I am still working through some fatigue. But otherwise crushing it! It’ll still be a little bit before this little hair makes an appearance outside of my slick bun. She’s growin though 🐌
