✨ A little salon PSA from Melissa’s Chop Shop ✨

We wanted to share a friendly reminder about messages, appointments, and response times. 💕

Each stylist at the salon runs their own schedule and manages their own messages. While we all work under the same roof, our hours can look very different!

Some of us work early mornings, some start later, some work shorter days, and some work longer days. The same goes for responding to messages. Some stylists may reply in the evenings or outside salon hours, while others keep their work and personal time separate and answer messages during their business hours.

And both are completely okay. 🖤

If your stylist doesn’t respond right away, please don’t panic. They are still here, still doing hair, and they will get back with you when they are back to their messages. Sometimes that may be quickly, and sometimes that may be the next business day.

We love that you’re excited to book with us, and we truly appreciate every single appointment request. We just ask for patience and understanding that when we step away from the chair, we also have families, homes, and lives that need our attention too.

The best way to help us get you scheduled faster: ✨ Include what service you’re needing
✨ Send your availability/days that work best
✨ Include any hair inspiration pictures if needed

That way when we do sit down to answer messages, we have everything we need to get you taken care of.

💯 2026 things will adjust for me as a self employed small business! The only way to survive and continue to be a self-employed hairstylist like I love to do, things will change! I appreciate all of you that still continue to support me and trust me with your hair. I take pride in my work, so I would love to be able to continue to do what I do for y’all!!
