Ok, Alter Image Salon friends and family-I’m going to have a Tears and beers fairwell tomorrow evening, Friday feb 3rd from 7-8 at Alter Image Salon at 526 Oak st. It’s just a come and go to say see ya later to myself and the business I’ve run for over 13 years and welcome to my ride of die Mindy Tatman Engle and her new salon, Oak street Salon into motion.
Light snacks and some drinks will be provided! Please stop by for some laughter, stories and I’m sure tears!

As this beautiful world shifts and grows we have tried to hold strong to the prices we have carried for over a decade now, but things have changed so drastically that we need to do a price increase to keep up. So please note that there will be some shifts in the service charges starting August 1. I promise to you that we have done all we can to find the best quality products for the best prices we can.

Today is a big day for my fellow stylist friends and I-Grand reopening!!! With this comes sooo much excitement to get back to doing what we love so very much, but also some pretty intense anxiety of the unknown. The what if. So please I ask all of our clients, be smart. Be selfless. Be respectful. We all know the rules. We have heard them a million times. If you have been around anyone whose sick at all OR feel ill yourself, don’t come. Wait to get your hair done, it’s just hair. Please wait in your car until we wave you in.

Well as of Monday, May 18th, after almost 8 weeks of a crazy shut down! We’re back! And so very ready to see and hear from all of our amazing friends! Please be patient bc there is so many of you and only two of us trying to get everyone in as fast as possible. To our ride or die family of clients, I’m sure everyone is already bracing themselves for this official message...Alter Image Salon is going to pause doing all appointments as of March 23, 2020. This pandemic is really breaking so many hearts but we must not only try and protect our families but our amazing salon friends and family. Hang in there during this break! Stay safe and please reach out to us if we can be of any support during this time. We will personally contact everyone of you to postpone all Haircare needs and as soon as we are in the clear to get back to our passion of loving your hair, we will reach back out!
