I have been a hair dresser since 1997. I am a color specialist and a master hair cutter. I also love doing straighteners and relaxers.
I began my career as a hair stylist in 1996 after graduating from San Diego City College Cosmetology School in 1995. I have had the pleasure of working in amazing salons at Atelier in La Jolla and Studio Savvy in Del Mar, as well as 111 Maiden Lane in San Francisco. I’ve been a master stylist at Felicity Hair Studio in Cardiff by the Sea since 2002. As a specialist in haircutting, color and styling, it’s my sheer pleasure to turn big, unruly hair into a sleek flowing mane, or to transform the short and simple into the sublime. One of the most exciting aspects of my career is to be part of the magic of a bride’s special day. Whether it’s a wedding, a prom night or any special event, I immerse myself wholly, creatively and collaboratively. Together with my client we determine the perfect blowout, updo or style that will enhance their unique beauty and fit the special occasion. Besides being a full-service hairdresser, I am also a mother of three boys. I have a broad range of experience in hair cutting and styling for all ages, hair types and textures. I love seeing the whole family and helping them look their best through a great haircut. I also believe you can never stop learning in this industry. I stay current with trends by taking continuing education classes and following fashion trends in music, magazines and film. By furthering my skills as a hairstylist it also allows me to cater to a wide range of clientele. And what makes me happy is to make my clients happy. I feel I achieve this by knowing what it is clients want and need. In the salon, I strive to create an environment in which my clients are at ease to express themselves and their ideas. I listen fully to them and follow-up with a series of questions that will lead me to my recommendation. My goal is to always give clients the look and style they desire that is also achievable at home in 20 minutes. It is my passion to make people look and feel their best. Extensions can not only make your vision of yourself come true, but grow your hair.
Don't poo poo extensions because you think "you're not THAT person". Extensions are for every person in so many ways.

Update on my 13yo Bat Mitzvah awesome girl:
Extensions added. She's in LOVE 💕💖💜 Look at that face of pure satisfaction.
Her mom loved the look and how happy her baby girl was. Her mom was also so happy that I was so happy that was so happy to create and realize the look that her daughter wanted.
I'm really proud of myself to create this look and make an almost impossible hair dream come true. I'm especially proud that I did it with keeping the integrity of her hair that still had it.
Her mom made a point to let me know that not only mom thought I knocked it out of the park, but that this young lady couldn't take enough selfies, or selfish, the mirror, or stop petting her hair.
These extensions are temporary! They are ONLY for the Bat Mitzvah. I will be taking them out next week, which is so easy to do with the tape-ins.

Extensions are so much more than a vain desire to have longer hair. It halls you grow your own hair and make it healthy. It helps you present yourself as you see yourself. It's a reclaiming And liberation.
Tape-in extensions are the unsung hero of extensions.
I just started with the lashes 4 months ago due to Covid & I'm still w wearing a mask while I work, so all you see is my eyes. These tho, this set has been her best yet!

Flash back Friday!
Because that’s what we have right now. I can’t wait to get back to the salon and do my favorite thing to do. Glorious color like this. I have to title of color specialist but it’s really my passion.
