I’ve been keeping a secret from you and I’m so excited to finally get to share it… 𝙒𝙀’𝙍𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙑𝙄𝙉𝙂….𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦 😂😍🫣

Everyone, welcome Mangomint Salon & Spa Software to Lunar Esthetix!

Mangomint is going to not only make our experience as your providers smoother and more seamless but it’s going to do the same for your client experience!

When I tell you, I heard you loud and clear… I mean it and when I told you I was going to make changes to ensure an easy, simple booking process, I meant that too! Here are a few examples of what you can expect:

1. No more complicated booking or going back and forth to add all your favorite treatments, services and add-ons. Now it’s literally as simple as: select your category, select your treatment or service, select your favorite add-ons, if needed add any additional treatments and services then book! If you’re a regular — once it recognizes your number it autofills your information!

2. As soon as you’ve completed booking your treatment or service — the forms button and screen comes up next. No more waiting for the text with the link or me having to scold you for not getting forms done 😂 and the best part THEY ARE ANNUAL NOW. Meaning do it once and as long as nothing detrimental changes, you won’t have to see that form again until the new year!

3. Forms are easier and very similar to the way they were in Jotform. No more gigantic paragraphs!

4. My absolute FAVORITE new feature? THE CHECK IN PROCESS! You can now check-in from your phone by clicking the link! No questions, no waiting and no more us missing the door ding because you snuck in while another client was leaving. Check-in with your provider and the app will let us know you’ve arrived. Once we’re ready, you’ll get a text and you can come back to our treatment room!

These are just my top 4 favorite things about our new software. I cannot wait for you guys to start using it and I truly hope you love it as much as we do!

When I opened Lunar, I told myself I wanted to work alone. After a career that had been a little chaotic lol, I wanted a space that felt peaceful, gave me control, and left room for whatever I decided to do next. But life always manages to life. How does that saying go… “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans”?

Kelsey had recently moved to the area after spending almost her entire career in Greene. The original plan was simply to give her a temporary space while she built a local clientele and figured out her next move. Vicky was a cosmetology student looking for hands-on experience in the esthetics and wellness side of the industry. Somewhere along the way, the three of us created this unintentionally amazing dynamic… and eventually, it just made sense.

So I am incredibly happy to officially announce the team 🤍

Three women-owned and operated businesses, under one roof.

I’m Shay of Lunar Esthetix, offering custom and corrective facials, signature brow artistry, body treatments and facial and body waxing. Kelsey of Massage Therapy by Kelsey offers massage focused on relaxation, relief, recovery and healing. And Vicky of Venus by Victoria offers custom facials, event and bridal makeup, brow enhancements and facial and body waxing.

What started as a space I created to work alone somehow became a space I genuinely love sharing with these two. We each have our own businesses, specialties and way of doing things, but somehow it all fits together. None of this was planned, and maybe that’s exactly why it works so well.

I guess Lunar had a little more room to grow than I thought it did 🤍

Hi,

With Lunan starting school full time in September, that means big changes are coming to my household — which also means big changes are coming to Lunar Esthetix too. 😮‍💨

Beginning in September, I’ll be permanently changing my schedule for a few reasons:

1. I need to be home to get Bub off the bus.
2. I want to be more present with my family.
3. I need to give myself time to rest and take care of my body too.

My new schedule will be:
Monday — 9:00-12:00
Tuesday — 10:00-2:00 & 4:00-6:00
Wednesday — 10:00-2:00 & 4:00-6:00
Thursday — Off
Friday — 10:00-4:00
Saturday — 10:00-4:00
Sunday — Off

Two late days for my late-working girlies and two weekend days for everyone who needs them. For everyone who’s already scheduled, your appointments are safe and you’ll be switching to the new schedule after.

Watching my babies grow up has really hit me lately — time is flying by, and I don’t want to miss any more of it than I have to. I want to be there for the after school activities, friends birthday parties on the weekends, family trips, sports, movie and pizza nights, and everything in between.

Making this change is scary, especially dropping an entire day from my schedule and praying it works out for us financially but I have faith this will all work out.

As always, thank you for your constant love, understanding, and support. You have no idea how much it means—not just to me, but to my family too.

Hi loves!

I just received my email from the People’s Choice awards so I just want to hop on here and clarify a few things:

Lunar Esthetix is 𝗡𝗢𝗧 actively participating in this or any other contests or competitions currently or in the future.

And the simple, truthful fact is: contests like these bring the ugly out in people and I learned that the hard way last year. And no, this isn’t me being a sore loser lol. I am just not a competitive person, I am quite anxiety ridden actually and being in contests is literally my biggest fear and my greatest nightmare lol plus I don’t have it in me to tear down other local businesses to get ahead in the contest like what I was told occurred last year.

Simply saying: contests and competitions just do not align with Lunar Esthetix or myself in this new chapter in my life.

I am 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 appreciative of the constant love and support you all have always shown me and my business, I appreciate everyone who took the time to nominate or vote for me but please this year and moving forward, use your votes to support other amazing local businesses!

Body waxing is FINALLY coming to Lunar Esthetix 😍

Hi loves 🫶🏾

I am finally up and around, feeling like myself again or at least as close as possible. I did want to hop on here and thank every single last one of you for your thoughts and prayers, being so supportive and understanding when we had to get everyone rescheduled and more importantly giving me the space and time to heal and recover. It has truly meant the world to me.

But in typical Shay fashion, it’s back to business, lol so with that being said:
• I am completely booked next week but I do have some availability the last few days of July, first few days of August.
• August calendar is fully available online and September calendar is partially open, for now.
• September we have so many exciting announcements, so stay tuned for those 😍🙌🏾
• I’m also going to be having a slight schedule change come September since my youngest baby will be going into kindergarten 🥹
