Lunar Esthetix

Hi,

With Lunan starting school full time in September, that means big changes are coming to my household — which also means big changes are coming to Lunar Esthetix too. 😮‍💨

Beginning in September, I’ll be permanently changing my schedule for a few reasons:

1. I need to be home to get Bub off the bus.
2. I want to be more present with my family.
3. I need to give myself time to rest and take care of my body too.

My new schedule will be:
Monday — Off
Tuesday — 9:00-2:00 & 4:00-7:00
Wednesday — 9:00-2:00 & 4:00-7:00
Thursday — Off
Friday — 9:00-3:00
Saturday — 9:00-3:00
Sunday — Off

Two late days for my late-working girlies and two weekend days for everyone who needs them. For everyone who’s already scheduled, your appointments are safe and you’ll be switching to the new schedule after.

Watching my babies grow up has really hit me lately — time is flying by, and I don’t want to miss any more of it than I have to. I want to be there for the after school activities, friends birthday parties on the weekends, family trips, sports, movie and pizza nights, and everything in between.

Making this change is scary, especially dropping an entire day from my schedule and praying it works out for us financially but I have faith this will all work out.

As always, thank you for your constant love, understanding, and support. You have no idea how much it means—not just to me, but to my family too.

I just received my email from the People’s Choice awards so I just want to hop on here and clarify a few things:

Lunar Esthetix is 𝗡𝗢𝗧 actively participating in this or any other contests or competitions currently or in the future.

And the simple, truthful fact is: contests like these bring the ugly out in people and I learned that the hard way last year. And no, this isn’t me being a sore loser lol. I am just not a competitive person, I am quite anxiety ridden actually and being in contests is literally my biggest fear and my greatest nightmare lol plus I don’t have it in me to tear down other local businesses to get ahead in the contest like what I was told occurred last year.

Simply saying: contests and competitions just do not align with Lunar Esthetix or myself in this new chapter in my life.

I am 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 appreciative of the constant love and support you all have always shown me and my business, I appreciate everyone who took the time to nominate or vote for me but please this year and moving forward, use your votes to support other amazing local businesses!

Body waxing is FINALLY coming to Lunar Esthetix 😍

Hi loves 🫶🏾

I am finally up and around, feeling like myself again or at least as close as possible. I did want to hop on here and thank every single last one of you for your thoughts and prayers, being so supportive and understanding when we had to get everyone rescheduled and more importantly giving me the space and time to heal and recover. It has truly meant the world to me.

But in typical Shay fashion, it’s back to business, lol so with that being said:
• I am completely booked next week but I do have some availability the last few days of July, first few days of August.
• August calendar is fully available online and September calendar is partially open, for now.
• September we have so many exciting announcements, so stay tuned for those 😍🙌🏾
• I’m also going to be having a slight schedule change come September since my youngest baby will be going into kindergarten 🥹

Hi loves!
I have an intern beginning May 18th, she’ll be at Lunar every Monday — I want to be able to show and teach her as many services possible 🤍

It has been quite a journey filled with mistakes, failures, losing faith, losing it all, falling down and quitting to getting back up again, starting over, building, growing, learning, trying new things, evolving, being honest with myself, trusting myself and God, taking new paths in order to become the woman I dreamed of in order to turn Lunar Esthetix into everything I knew it could be 🤍

THANK YOU to everyone who stuck by my side, who supported me, motivated me, lifted me back up, walked side by side through the fire, who remained faithful in me and Lunar.
