Well 2023…. That’s a wrap. Thanks to my amazingly supportive husband for being my very last client of the year and of well… forever?
I’ve wrote and rewrote this a million times….
So uhm s**t here goes nothing, to anyone that hasn’t heard yet, I made the tough call to stop working behind the chair. Honestly I don’t know what that means for my future.. I’d love to say I’ll be back once I take care of my schooling etc. but I just don’t know right now… I could go on and on about my chaos and prioritizing my mental & physical health and putting myself first, but instead I want to make this positive.
Hair= My very first love, my passion &my reason. I’ve been behind the chair since I was 17 (15 if you want to count school) this life is all I’ve ever known. I eat sleep & breathe this industry, this is the fire that runs through my veins… but at the end of the day, I would be absolutely nowhere without YOU. Every single person throughout the years has played such a vital part in my journey. The good, the bad, the ugly- I am so thankful for all of it, I wouldn’t change a single thing. All the clients I no longer see, even if I did your hair just 1 time, you matter to my story… even if I totally f’d your hair up, I’m very sorry but that fueled me to do better. All of my old bosses, managers and coworkers, even if we no longer speak, I am so thankful for you and I will always think of you with nothing but love even if you don’t think of me the same. I truly believe that people are put into your lives for a reason and I am so fortunate to be able to look back on almost 20 years and relive some of the most amazing times of my life being shared with YOU. We have laughed, cried, screamed & celebrated, we have shared some of the darkest moments of our lives together but also some of the happiest; there are no words to describe my absolute gratitude for not only your business but your friendship. YOU matter so much to ME. You are important, you are amazing, you are appreciated & you are loved.
The future looks so different, but I’m radiating so much excitement and positivity for my second love which is education. You all have given me so much to take into this new venture; you are the stories I tell my students & the skills that I teach them. Thank you for crossing my path.

To my team at ATLYA… thank you for accepting me fully with my quirks and all. I am so proud to have been a part of your lives the last 4 years. I have never been part of such a freaking KILLER TALENTED unit before. You have all inspired me so much more than you know, working alongside you all has been such an amazing experience. Not seeing you guys everyday is breaking me. Having your support to bounce ideas off of, to learn new techniques or products with, to learn from- s**t is monumental. I am forever grateful for you all as well.

I can’t even behind to explain how much this guts me, I will miss you all so much but as always I am here for you as you all have been there for me. ✌️It’s not a goodbye, definitely a see ya later.

So PROUD of our students today. First off, they volunteered 5 hours of their time… on a Saturday… in the summer… HELLO AMAZING! Secondly, We were able to provide about 40 FREE haircuts to members of the community! Needless to say, these kids kicked some serious butt!!
