The cabin space is cramped, and prolonged sitting during flight can impair circulation, leading to blood stagnation, joint stiffness, and decreased organ function. This can easily cause fatigue and discomfort, and in severe cases, blood clots that can lead to heart disease or stroke.

For long-haul flights exceeding 3 hours, it's highly recommended to perform some exercises to improve overall circulation, reduce fatigue, and prevent blood clots and related illnesses.

These 10 exercises primarily target the extremities, with small movements that won't disturb others. If you perform these exercises during your flight, you'll feel more relaxed and comfortable, effectively reducing fatigue and preventing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

1. Soles of the feet facing each other.
2. Grasp the ankles.
3. Rub the elbows from the groin to the knees.
3-5 minutes before sleeping.

The line down the middle of the thigh corresponds to the liver meridian. Massaging the liver meridian improves the liver's blood storage function, which helps to conserve Yang energy and thus improves sleep quality.

During the exercise, the undulating movements of the back help to enhance kidney Yang energy. Many elderly people have poor sleep quality due to kidney deficiency; boosting kidney Yang also helps with sleep.

The arms rotate and stretch up and down, which will cause the internal organs in the chest and abdomen to move up and down, dredge the internal organs' blood circulation, and help clean up garbage and wastewater.

The palms belong to the heart, and so does the face. Bringing them close together allows the face to feel the warmth of the hands, which can help us relax and calm our minds.
