Happy World Teachers’ Day from The Glamour Garage!

I’d estimate that 40–50% of our shared clientele are teachers or work within our school communities in some way. From Ephrata and Soap Lake to Moses Lake and Coulee City, you fill our chairs, share your lives with us, and have become such a special part of our salon family.

We absolutely adore you. Getting to give you a little time to rest, feel beautiful, and be cared for means so much when you spend your days giving so much of yourselves.

And as mom to child in this district, this appreciation runs even deeper. I couldn’t be more grateful for the teacher she’s with. Knowing your child is with someone who sees them, supports them, and celebrates their progress is a gift that’s hard to put into words. 🥹

To the teachers and the school staff helping our children learn, belong, and believe in themselves: you deserve to be celebrated. Today, and far more often than you probably are.

Tag a teacher or school staff member who deserves a little extra love. Let’s remind them how much they mean to our community. 💚

A little look at what’s been happening around the Garage!

Yesterday, Aida and I attended Adrian’s celebration of life. It was beautiful seeing so many people come together to celebrate him. Looking through the photos and seeing how many lives he was part of meant so much. We knew how loved he was, but seeing that love gathered in one place was something special.

Thank you to everyone who helped put together such a beautiful celebration, everyone who came, and everyone continuing to support Sheri, his family, and our shop family. We’re still learning how to do this without him, and we’re grateful we don’t have to do it alone.

Take care of yourselves and each other this week. 💚

💛 Tomorrow, we celebrate Adrian.

We just wanted to share one more reminder that Adrian’s Celebration of Life is tomorrow, and we truly hope to see so many of the people whose lives he touched over the years.

We know his family, Sheri, and all of us here at The Glamour Garage would love nothing more than to look around tomorrow and see a park full of familiar faces. Friends, family, longtime clients, people who sat in his chair for years, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing Adrian are welcome.

He was such a huge part of this community and such a huge part of our lives. Tomorrow is about surrounding the people who loved him most, sharing stories, hugging each other a little tighter, and celebrating the man we all wish we had more time with.

This celebration is open to the public. Please come. We know it would mean so much to his family, to Sheri, and to all of us who are still trying to navigate a shop and a world that feels a whole lot different without him in it.
