Exciting news!!! My first day is July 22nd and I am starting to book haircuts. 😁
Adult barber cuts start at $15. (The price will change based on difficulty and length. If you'd like a better approximation, please call, text, or message me and I'd be happy to discuss it with you.)
I'm still waiting for pricing on chemical and waxing services. I'll update as soon as I know.

A bit of a surprise, but it looks like I'll be starting back in a salon in July. Would anyone like me to keep them updated with my schedule?

My son finally decided to make his appearance 5 days late. I'm so excited to introduce, Zephyr Tiberius Hensley. Born on June 14th at 7:45pm, weighing 10lbs5oz and 22 inches long. "Little" guy is doing great.
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to announce that my shop will be closed permanently. This was not an easy decision. There have been many tears, but ultimately, I believe it's the best thing to do for my family under the current circumstances.
I just can not thank you all enough for the support over the years. I'm so humbled by how blessed I've been in the last 7+ years. Most of you are more like friends and family than just customers. I'm so honored to have known you and grateful that you were willing to let me serve you.
If I haven't gotten in touch with you individually, I apologize. I've tried to reach as many people as possible. It's a little chaotic right now. Please know that I wasn't trying to neglect anyone, it was just an oversight.
Please let me know if you'd like me to let you know if/when I get back into the industry.
I will miss you all so much.
God bless you,
Angie Inman
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all safe and well. This will be a lengthy post, but please read.
I have been closely monitoring the Pa business reopening plan. As well as keeping an eye on other states. This past week, Georgia lifted its closures, including hairsalons/barbershops.
Before doing so, they released standards for salons to adhere to. (I will link to it).
These are guidelines specifically for GA, however, I believe Pennsylvania will have similar, if not stricter expectations before any shop can reopen.
After evaluating these standards, the cost of implementation, and the dramatic decrease in the amount of customers I will be able to service an hour, I have come to 2 conclusions.
1. My cost per service will have to take an appropriate increase to evolve with these changes. Which is to be determined.
2. Or my business may remain permanently closed. This decision will be based on state timing and their plans moving forward.
Other considerations that are included in the possibility of closure are my children and child care. And the risks that exposer to this virus could present to them.
Please know that I absolutely love doing hair. I know I could not have been in business without each and every single one of you. Your support throughout the years has been more than I could ask for. I have been so blessed to have clients that engage my passion and push me to grow.
I can't thank you enough for your compassion and understanding when it came to the loss of my mother.
If I were to close, it will be one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
Thank you for taking time to read this. Prayers for wisdom and any advice is appreciated.
Angie.
At this point, I have very little hope that they will lift the mandated closures. And to avoid having to contact everyone several times to reschedule, I have decided to cancel all appointments, without rescheduling, until the restriction is removed.
I will be reaching out week by week. As of now, all appointments scheduled through April 3rd are removed from my schedule book.
(If you have a standing weekly appointment, please assume that your spot is canceled until further notice.)
Thank you,
Angie

This is the reason why salons and barbershops MUST close their doors right now. Any business that has a close proximity relationship with their customers should be required to shutdown. For the safety of our clients, their family and friends and ourselves, please stay at home!
‘There’s no easy way to say this,’ the voice said. ‘But the client before you at the salon just tested positive for coronavirus.’: Woman exposed to virus at hair salon urges for ‘social distancing’ "'Her appointment was 11:00 a.m. Yours was 11:30 a.m.' A heavy silence hung between us. My shop will be closed for 2 weeks. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.
Please be respectful. A hair service can wait if you have a cold or the flu.
A large majority of my customers are seniors or children. I have several who are dealing with cancer and/or other forms of immune-weaking illnesses. If you come in while you're sick, you are risking another person's health or even their life.
And on a more personal note, I have a 16 month old child at home, I'm 6 months pregnant, and my husband works for the hospital/cancer center in Lancaster. When you bring something into my business, I take it home. It doesn't just effect me or my family, it has the potential to travel to many others who are already fighting illnesses.
Please reschedule your appointment if you have been sick within the last 24 hours. I will refuse service to anyone who is sick.
Thank you.
Angie
The Holiday rush is in full swing. And, as of now, I'm booked until Monday afternoon. If you'd like to get in before Christmas, make sure you let me know at least a few days in advance. (I suggest a week).
*at this time my chemical service slots are completely filled for the month. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
