New client alert: I had a new client in my chair and wanted a softer grow out (the before is not my work.) I was honored to be able to transform her hair from chunky grown out highlights to a soft modern dimensional vibe. I don’t always do color corrections but I’m super happy with how this color turned out! Of course I created this color with my favorite color line Let me know what you think in the comments!

My client sat in my chair and said “I wanna be platinum blonde from roots to ends” and I said “absolutely not” and here’s the reason why: my client comes into see me about 2-3 times per year. Let me repeat, 2-3 times per year. When I explained to her that she would need to be in the salon every 4 weeks (once a month) she said “yeah I’m not doing that” and I completely understand. We decided to switch directions and maintain some dimension in the hair so it can grow in nicely. Sometimes you have to pivot but I’m so glad we did because it turned out fantastic!
