“I don’t have well water anymore.” Is music to my ears when we’ve been fighting iron build up and hard water build up.
Side note: not all wells have the same mineral content. Wells with excess iron really darken blondes over time and make it increasingly hard to upkeep. I’ve even seen wells over the years that deposit so much iron onto the hair you can no longer tell there’s been highlights between appointments. In these circumstances other hair colors might be better suited for your hairs health.

Baby girl is due early May. Currently my schedule is booked until she’s due. BUT cancellations and

Please let me know if you’d like to be added to my waitlist for the next 8 weeks or so. My last day is currently scheduled as 4/24
I plan to be off work anywhere from 8-10 weeks. I’ll return to work at least by mid July. The plan right now is working Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
I really want to thank all of my clients, friends, family and coworkers that have been so supportive. Thank you for letting me share this exciting time with you 💕

Well Water VS Blonde hair
Some blondes often struggle to maintain brightness and longevity due to well water.
Some wells are worse off than others with their mineral deposits on hair. Overtime this leads to discoloration.
Unfortunately there’s no fool proof way to prevent deposit of these minerals but here are some tips to help prolong your color.
* Clarifying your hair and using Malibu C packets such as the “hard water” packets weekly help prevent buildup
* Consider an in Salon clarifying treatment between color appointments and/or prior to them
* Adding a filter to your shower. And no unfortunately having or adding a water softener doesn’t remove the all the minerals that cause discoloration to hair. (Copper and iron)
* Using a heat protectant when styling. Yellow discoloration also occurs from heat.
Lastly, just know in time your hair will need relightened again no matter how well your upkeep is. This is true for all blondes but especially those with particularly bad well water.
💕Starting January 25th I’m reintroducing Saturdays to accommodate spa appointments 💕
Signs your scalp needs a head spa: 😉
⚡️ Flaking: there’s many reasons for flaking and not all of them are dandruff.
Even generally unproblematic scalps can acquire buildup overtime from hair products, hard water and improper cleansing.
⚡️ Itchiness : sometimes our scalps get irritated and inflamed especially during the winter. We can help calm your scalp and add back mositure during our treatment.
⚡️ Painful bumps: Basically pimples on your scalp or more scientifically known as folliculitis. These occur when an infection of the hair follicle occurs. I see this most often with oily scalp types or those who go too long between shampoos. Buildup, bacteria and fungi all can contribute to Folliculitis.
⚡️ Hair loss: *99% of the time hair loss is not caused by scalp build up* BUT it’s important to maintain a healthy scalp. During our treatment we will create an optimal scalp environment to maximize whatever treatments you’re doing at home.
✨To optimize treatment I recommend booking the Scalp Analysis Head Spa that includes a microscope analysis to help determine your root problem.✨
