The final day is over…so bittersweet. Thank you to all our customers past and present for your business and friendship. To my girls…Sue and Bettieann…there are no words…thanks for hanging in there with me through thick and thin! I hope this is not goodbye, only see you soon! Love you and wish for only the best for your futures! I have been very blessed!💕

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that the Salon with be closing its door as of August 24th 2024.
We would like to thank all of our amazing clients for their loyalty and friendship for the past 36 years. We have been truly blessed!

Sue will be retiring.
Bettieann will be moving to Hair Flairs on East 38th St.
Amy plans on working at Hair HQ in the old Kmart plaza on Buffalo rd after addressing some severe issues with my back. It’s been a great 36 year run…thanks for the memories!💕

It's just hair- when you were getting a divorce and just needed to feel better about yourself.

It's just hair- when you had a terrible day and looked forward to being able to vent without being judged

It’s just hair- when I came in after hours to get your hair done before a last minute early morning flight to make it home in time to see a loved one before it’s too late

It's just hair- when you are about to go on vacation and can't wait to tell me all about it on your next visit

Wow!! What a great first day back at the salon! I couldn’t have asked for things to have gone better! Big thank you to my girls, Susan Margosian and Bettieann! Also, to all our clients, whether they came in today, or scheduled for 2 weeks from now, thank you for your patience and loyalty during all of this! We are truly blessed! 💕

Welp...finally we are going green next Friday the 26th!!! Please be patient with us as we try to contact as many clients as we can. Feel free to leave a comment with your stylist and phone number and I will make sure they get it! So looking forward to seeing all of you. There are quite a few new guidelines so it will be a little crazy at first, but we are sure we will get into a nice rhythm quickly! See you soon!

I am sad to say, we are not going green...if anyone would like to purchase their color, please instant message me and I can give you the details and set a time for pick up. I’m so frustrated...looking forward to seeing you all as soon as possible. 💕

I finally received some bottles I ordered to be able to sell color to our clients. Well...I’m sad to say we were not included in the first round of re-opened businesses. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Thank you to all who have reached out to us with encouraging words. We can only hope and pray that they allow us back to work soon. You are all in our thoughts...we miss you !!! WE ARE NOT IN THE SAME BOAT...

I heard that we are all in the same boat, but it's not like that. We are in the same storm, but not in the same boat. Your ship could be shipwrecked and mine might not be. Or vice versa.

For some, quarantine is optimal. A moment of reflection, of re-connection, easy in flip flops, with a cocktail or coffee. For others, this is a desperate financial & family crisis.

For some that live alone they're facing endless loneliness. While for others it is peace, rest & time with their mother, father, sons & daughters.

With the $600 weekly increase in unemployment some are bringing in more money to their households than they were working. Others are working more hours for less money due to pay cuts or loss in sales.

Some families of 4 just received $3400 from the stimulus while other families of 4 saw $0.

Some were concerned about getting a certain candy for Easter while others were concerned if there would be enough bread, milk and eggs for the weekend.

Some want to go back to work because they don't qualify for unemployment and are running out of money. Others want to kill those who break the quarantine.

Some are home spending 2-3 hours/day helping their child with online schooling while others are spending 2-3 hours/day to educate their children on top of a 10-12 hour workday.

Some have experienced the near death of the virus, some have already lost someone from it and some are not sure if their loved ones are going to make it. Others don't believe this is a big deal.

Some have faith in God and expect miracles during this 2020. Others say the worst is yet to come.

So, friends, we are not in the same boat. We are going through a time when our perceptions and needs are completely different.

Each of us will emerge, in our own way, from this storm. It is very important to see beyond what is seen at first glance. Not just looking, actually seeing.

We are all on different ships during this storm experiencing a very different journey.
