Simple joys are the coziest kind of mornings 🤍

THE BREADWINNER BABKA 🍞Every breadwinner deserves a babka.🍞 Tonight’s kitchen experiment started with something simple…leftover pizza dough.

Instead of wasting it, I rolled it out and layered it with
✨ vanilla bean paste–infused butter
✨ cinnamon & brown sugar
✨ chocolate chips
✨ toffee bits

Then twisted it into what might be my new favorite thing to come out of my kitchen.

Golden caramelized edges.
Soft layered swirls.
Little pockets of chocolate and toffee tucked into every bite.

And just like that…

The Breadwinner Babka was born. 🤍

Big baking weekend at Jennie Mae’s 🍕🤍

In between all the crusts, I got to slow down and make one special “Mickey-shaped” pizza with my sweet boy. Watching his little hands spread the sauce might’ve been my favorite part of it all. This right here, flour everywhere and my family beside me. THIS is my happy place. 💙
